Overview

One of the popular events that is organized in Gujarat and is a major crowd puller from across the country and the world is the Rann Utsav. This is regarded as a celebration of life, culture, and the festivities of Kutch. The entire event is spread across 4 months which sees a riot of colours spread over the barren lands. The entire event offers an experience of diverse traditions as well as the taste of generous hospitality of the people from Kutch. The beautiful White Desert welcomes one and all and the sight of a full moon night during the entire period can be breathtaking. The entire Rann Utsav also offers host of other activities to indulge in which expands across Camel Rides, Bird Watching, Pool Table, Paramotoring, Giant Chess, Archery, etc. The entire event will definitely be worth an experience of a lifetime.

• 08:15 AM - From Railway Station, Bhuj and Airport, Bhuj
• 10:00 AM - From Railway Station, Bhuj and Airport, Bhuj

• The above timings are for fixed departures and subject to change.
• No Complimentary transfers will be available after the above timings.
• Individual transfers are available on request (chargeable).
• Allotment of tents to guests arriving before check-in time will be subject to availability.
• The distance from Bhuj to Rann Utsav – The Tent City, Dhordo is approx. 85 km, which takes about 1 hr 45 minutes.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Rann Utsav, the Tent City, Dhordo from Bhuj

• 12:30 PM Onwards - Welcome and check–in
• 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM - Enjoy delicious lunch at the respective Dining Area.
• 02:30 PM to 04:00 PM - Indulge yourself in the exciting range of activities we offer in-house.
• 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM - High Tea
• 05:00 PM to 05:30 PM - Visit to The White Rann to witness the grandeur of the sunset. The mode of transfer will be through bus/ camel cart/ both.
• 07:00 PM to 07:30 PM - Return transfer to Rann Utsav – The Tent City, Dhordo
• 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM - Enjoy scrumptious dinner at the respective Dining Area.
• 09:00 PM to 10:30 PM - Enjoy the Culture of Kutch along with entertaining activities at the Cultural Activity Area

DAY 02 - Tour to Kala Dungar

• 06:00 AM to 06:30 AM - Morning Tea
• 06:30 AM to 07:30 AM - Experience a rejuvenating yoga session at our dedicated Activity Area.
• 06:30 AM to 07:30 AM - Visit to the White Rann to witness the grandeur of the sunrise.
• 07:30 AM to 10:00 AM - Breakfast at respective Dining Area
• 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM - Indulge yourself in the exciting range of activities we offer in-house.
• 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM - Enjoy delicious Lunch at the respective Dining Area.
• 03:00 PM to 07:30 PM - Complimentary Tour to Kala Dungar (Black Hill) – the highest point of Kutch. On the route visit to handicraft village “Gandhi nu Gam”. En route to Kala Dungar, Tea/Coffee and Complimentary refreshments will be served.
• 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM - Enjoy scrumptious dinner at the respective Dining Area.
• 09:00 PM to 10:30 PM - Enjoy the culture of Kutch along with entertaining activities at Cultural Activity Area.

DAY 03 - Departure and Tour of Smritivan Earthquake Museum, Bhuj

Smritivan Earthquake Museum, Bhuj: The Smritivan Earthquake Museum, Bhuj is situated on the Bhujiyo Dungar. It was constructed in remembrance of the victims of the devastating 2001 Gujarat earthquake. The Sun-point at the memorial is situated on top of Bhujiyo Dungar, providing a panoramic view of the city as well as breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset.

• 06:00 AM to 06:30 AM - Morning Tea
• 06:30 AM to 07:30 AM - Experience a rejuvenating yoga session in our dedicated Activity Area.
• 07:30 AM to 09:30 AM - Breakfast at respective Dining Area
• 09:30 AM - Check-out from Rann Utsav – The Tent City, Dhordo
• 11:30 AM to 02:00 PM - Complimentary sightseeing to Smritivan Bhuj (Earthquake Museum) for approx. 2 hrs. (It will be closed on Monday)

Inclusions

• 1 Night Package includes lunch, high tea and dinner on the 1st day and morning tea and breakfast on the 2nd day. The meals will be served as per the scheduled time in the respective Dining Areas and missed meals will not be refunded or extended on the 2nd day.
• The 2 Nights Package includes lunch, high tea and dinner on the 1st day, morning tea, breakfast, lunch, refreshment and dinner on the 2nd day and morning tea and breakfast on the 3rd day. The meals will be served as per the scheduled time in the respective Dining Areas and missed meals will not be refunded or extended on the 3rd day.
• Package are fixed and cannot be interchanged. Guests who have missed visit as per the itinerary may be included on request on a chargeable basis.
• Accommodation in the tent is on a twin-sharing basis.

Exclusions

• Airfare / Train fare not included.
• Entry Fees at places of tourist Interest, if any.
• Monument entry fee, guide fee, camera fee, govt. visitor fees.
• Porterage, Insurance, Tips and Gratuity.
• Vehicle not at disposal.
• 5% GST.

Know Before You Go

• Carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar/Passport). PAN card not accepted.
• Guests must adhere to scheduled departure times.
• Full moon nights offer the best White Rann view — plan dates accordingly.
• Winters in Rann can be very cold — carry warm clothing.
• Outside food and alcohol not allowed in Tent City.

Additional Information

• Distance and Duration mentioned are in approx only.
• No Refund for any unutilized service or sightseeing.
• Management is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings of the guest. Guests are requested to take care of their belongings.
• Guests carrying valuables such as fragile items, money, jewellery, silverware, cameras, electronics/laptops, chargers or photographic equipment, antiques, artefacts, work of art, precious metals and other similar valuables at their own risk.
• Guests have to follow the house rules and applicable laws of the land.
• No pets are allowed inside Rann Utsav-The Tent City.
• The rates mentioned as on date, any changes in airfare, fuel cost, taxes, transportation cause change in total package cost.
• Rates quoted as per 02 pax traveling together. Increase/decrease in no. of pax will change the package cost.
• Rates might change if traveling dates changes.

Terms and Conditions

• Offered rates are exclusive of GST.
• Confirmation will be subject to availability @ the time of reservation.
• We shall proceed with the holding/ confirmation, and we would require 50% before 30 Days and balance before 10 Days prior to travel date.
• Rates may differ as per the travel dates.
• In case of any cancellation of flight/train or any mode of transportation, the booking amount is not refundable.
• Pick-up and drop-off facilities are available only from Bhuj Airport or Bhuj Railway Station by AC Coach as per scheduled timings.
• The voucher issued in respect of the package for Rann Utsav-The Tent City is to be furnished compulsorily along with a government-approved, valid Photo ID Proof such as Aadhar card of each guest at the reception counter at the time of check-in; for foreign nationals, it is mandatory to furnish a valid passport and Visa. Pan card will not be accepted as a valid Photo ID.
• In case of a delayed arrival of Train or Flight, the guest will be transferred to Rann Utsav-The Tent City, Dhordo in the next available transfer.
• In case of late arrival at Rann Utsav-The Tent City, guests will not be entitled for missed meals or other activities.
• In case of early arrival at Rann Utsav-The Tent City, guests may be required to wait at the waiting lounge or clubhouse till the availability of the tent.

Confirmation Policy

• Booking is confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.
• E-confirmation voucher will be sent via email once confirmed.

Refund Policy

• Any refund, if applicable, will be processed within 7 working days.
• Refunds are subject to terms of cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

• 25% cancellation charges if canceled before 30 days.
• 50% cancellation charges if canceled 15–29 days before travel.
• 100% cancellation charges if canceled within 15 days of travel.

Payment Terms

• 50% payment to confirm booking.
• Balance to be paid 10 days before check-in date.
