Overview

Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.
Itinerary
Welcome to Vietnam! After landing in Hanoi airport, our tour guide and car will pick you up and transfer to your hotel for check in and rest after long and tired flight.Our tour guide will pick up and we will visit Ba Dinh square, where president Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of Vietnam of 2 September 1945, and Ho Chi Minh mausoleum , Temples of Literature constructed in 1070 – dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars. It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam’s first university.Leave for a legendary Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son Temple (The Returned Sword Lake whose name comes from a legend of a sacred sword) at sunset. Get on a cyclo cycling around Hanoi’s downtown to the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets and then transfer back to your hotel.Overnight in Hanoi
- 08:30 - Pick-up from hotel and depart for Halong Bay. Quick rest stop on the way.
- 12:30 - Arrive at Ha Long International Cruise Port. Relax at waiting lounge while registration is completed.
- 12:45 - Board the tender to the cruise. Enjoy welcome drink, safety briefing, and check-in to cabin.
- 13:30 - Enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay.
- 15:00 - Arrive at Cap La Island. Kayaking, swimming, and relaxing.
- 17:30 - Return to the boat. Enjoy sunset party while the cruise sails to overnight anchorage.
- 19:00 - Sumptuous set dinner on board.
- 20:30 - Free time: Vietnamese puzzle games, board games, squid fishing, cocktails, or relax on deck.
- Overnight on cruise.
- 06:00 - Sunrise Tai-chi session on sundeck or enjoy morning view of the bay with tea/coffee
- 07:00 - Breakfast served in Western style
- 08:00 - Explore Thien Canh Son Cave
- 09:00 - Return to boat, freshen up and pack
- 10:00 - Vietnamese cooking demo (Nem Cuon or fruit/vegetable carving)
- 11:00 - Enjoy traditional Vietnamese lunch on board
- 12:00 - Disembark at Ha Long cruise port
- 12:30 - Bus transfer back to Hanoi
- Overnight in Hanoi
- 09:00 - Pick-up from hotel and head to Ninh Binh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- 10:00 - Arrive at Tam Coc area. Begin Tam Coc boat tour, rowed by locals using both hands and feet.
- Visit 3 magical grottos: Hang Ca (First Grotto), Hang Hai (Second Grotto), Hang Ba (Third Grotto).
- 11:30 - Enjoy a 30–45 minute bicycle ride around Tam Coc. During harvest season, see golden rice fields.
- 13:15 - Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Vietnam’s capital from 968 to early 11th century. Walk to Dinh and Le dynasty temples.
- 14:15 - Visit Mua Cave, climb 500 steps to the summit for a panoramic view of Ninh Binh.
- Return to hotel in Hanoi.
- Overnight in Hanoi.
Breakfast at the hotel.Our guide and car will pick up and transfer to the airport for the flight back home

If we were to do this trip, we chose a July slot that runs 8am. But the sky and crystal clear pickups up with some magical views of Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon.
